The following trial, carried out by a collaborating company in Mexico, assessed the performance of Boramin Ca® on the occurrence of “blossom end rot”, a nutritional disease of tomato. The effect over some yield parameters related with flowering and fructification was also evaluated.

Boramin Ca® reduces the percentage of nutritional disorders linked to calcium, the most important being blossom end rot of tomatoes. In the picture you can see clusters from the control treatment highly affected by blossom end rot.

This trial also showed a 45% increase of the number of fruits per plant in the Boramin Ca® treatment, mainly due to increased formation of fertile flowers per cluster (+43%) and the production of more clusters per plant (+15%).
