Humitec®: Greater profitability for potatoes - Private trial, Brazil -
The following trials established in Brazil assessed the positive performance of Humitec® in terms of yield and quality of potato crops tubers.
The excellent results obtained have been confirmed in different varieties (Monalisa, Jasette Bintje and Agatha) in Brazil. The results in figure 1 indicate an increase in the yield of 40% in the first variety and of 20% in the other two cases. In the Monalisa variety, in the town of Paranapanema, a significant increase in the number of tubers with greater commercial value was observed. Such increases amounting to 82% in special class and 6% in first class, together with a 46% reduction in the number of disposable tubers.
